Defensive tackle Adam Gotsis, quarterback Justin Thomas and cornerback D.J. White were voted Georgia Tech’s permanent captains by teammates Monday. Coach Paul Johnson made the announcement following the team’s practice.

Thomas is a second-time captain, having been elected last season as a sophomore. Gotsis and White, both seniors, were voted captain for the first time. If Thomas is elected again as a senior, it appears he would be the first three-time captain in team history.
