Georgia State, the back-to-back Sun Belt Conference champions will play all but two members of the league twice each, beginning Dec. 19 against UT Arlington in a rematch of last year’s conference championship game.

The Panthers, under first-year head coach Rob Lanier, will play a 20-game conference schedule that will have Appalachian State and Coastal Carolina making trips to GSU Sports Arena for the first time in three seasons.

After their second-straight 24-win season, the Panthers advanced to a third NCAA Tournament in five seasons with departed coach Ron Hunter.

The Panthers will return to the court in mid-September for the start of practice for the upcoming season.
