Georgia hired Rob Sale as its offensive line coach, the school announced Saturday.

Sale, who played at LSU, was the offensive line coach and co-offensive coordinator at McNeese State when Bulldogs coach Mark Richt hired him.

Sale joined the McNeese staff in February 2012, as offensive line coach, and last summer was promoted to co-offensive coordinator. Before joining the McNeese State staff, he was a strength and conditioning assistant coach and an offensive analyst at Alabama from 2007-11.

Last season, McNeese State averaged 32.4 points, 396.5 total yards, 221.9 rushing yards and 174.6 passing yards per game.

At LSU, Sale played in 35 games, starting 25. As a senior in 2002, he started all 13 games at right offensive guard. He also played center while at LSU.
