TROY AT GEORGIA

When: noon Saturday

TV: SEC Network

Line: Georgia by 41

WHAT TO EXPECT

Georgia on offense: The Bulldogs have gained plenty of yards (433.5 per game) and scored at a good clip (40 per game). But they lack their typical balance. Georgia is running 62 percent of the time, but not taking advantage of it by completing deep passes when they do throw (6.7 yards per attempt). The Bulldogs will work hard on intermediate or deep routes off play-action.

Troy on offense: The Trojans pass out of the spread offense and have led the Sun Belt in passing each of the past four seasons. But they currently have quarterback issues. Starter Brandon Silvers, a redshirt freshman, suffered a concussion in the second half of last week's 38-35 loss to Abilene Christian. Dontreal Pruitt, a 5-foot-11, 180-pound junior, was 9-of-17 for 99 yards as his replacement.

Georgia on defense: The truth about the Bulldogs' defense probably lies somewhere between the 15 yards it gave up in the second half against Clemson and the 298 it allowed South Carolina in the first half Saturday. Two things have to get resolved: They have pressure the passer and tighten the intermediate level of their zone.

Troy on defense: The Trojans have allowed 478 yards per game, but they've recorded four takeaways for a turnover margin that ranks 24th nationally. Junior Tray Hall recently earned a starting job at cornerback and leads the team with two pass break-ups. But his real claim to fame is he is the nephew of legendary rapper Snoop Dogg.
