Georgia defensive back Deandre Baker (18) leads a break away to score Georgia's first touchdown against South Carolina Saturday, Sept. 8, 2018, at Williams-Brice Stadium in Columbia, S.C.

Former Georgia Bulldogs cornerback Deandre Baker has signed with rapper Lil Wayne’s Young Money APAA Sports agency.

Wayne announced the move Thursday on Twitter: “Welkome to the family.”

Baker won the Thorpe Award — given to the top defensive back in college football — as a senior. He is a projected first-round selection in the 2019 NFL Draft.

Baker bypassed the Sugar Bowl to begin preparing the draft. The first round of the NFL Draft takes place Thursday, April 25, in Nashville. The Atlanta Falcons hold the 14th overall pick.

Started in 2016, Young Money APAA represents a number of NFL players, including the Falcons’ Duke Riley and the Patriots’ Devin McCourty.
