Top-ranked Georgia Military College (11-0) will play No. 2 East Mississippi Community College (11-0) for the NJCAA national championship in the Mississippi Bowl at 2 p.m. Dec. 8.

GMC won the NJCAA national title in 2001 and reached the final in 2002.

“It’s hard to play at such a high level for a long stretch of time,” GMC coach Bert Williams said. “I’m proud of our guys for maintaining that level of play throughout the season. I feel like we’re at full strength heading into the biggest game of the year.”

GMC running back Jovon Robinson, a former Auburn signee, leads the NJCAA with 2,189 yards rushing and 31 touchdowns.
