How the winning run scored: One night after ending a 15-game losing streak, the G-Braves' Luis Durango scored the winning run from third with one out in the 12th on a Tyler Pastornicky ground ball to again defeat division-leader Charlotte at Coolray Field.
At the plate: Designated hitter Christian Marrero hit his fourth homer of the season, a solo shot in the second inning. Ernesto Mejia added his 16th homer in the fourth.
On the mound: Gwinnett starter Yohan Flande, winless in his last three starts, took a three-hitter into the eighth but allowed an RBI double to Justin Greene to tie the game 2-2. Flande allowed one earned run and struck out three.
Up next for Gwinnett: The G-Braves conclude a four-game series with Charlotte at Coolray at 7:05 p.m., RH Julio Teheran (5-5, 4.50) facing LH Charlie Leesman (7-6, 2.45).
