The Hawks will introduce Lloyd Pierce as the 13th full-time coach in the Atlanta history of the franchise on Monday. Pierce joins the Hawks after spending the past five seasons as an assistant coach with the 76ers. He also spent time with the Cavaliers, Warriors and Grizzlies organizations.

Pierce, 42, will sign a reported three-year deal with a team option fourth year.

Pierce replaces Mike Budenholzer after the five-year relationship with the organization ended last month as the former NBA coach of the year began interviewing for other jobs with two years remaining on his contract.
