After missing six games due to a right ankle injury, Golden State Warriors guard Stephen Curry plans to return Friday against the Atlanta Hawks, according to ESPN's Chris Haynes and Ramona Shelburne.

Curry, who averages 26.3 points and leads the team with 1.6 steals, is one of three Golden State starters who have been sidelined due to injuries along with Kevin Durant (ribs) and Klay Thompson (hand).

The last time the two teams faced off in Atlanta on March 2, Curry played 24 minutes and scored 29 points after tweaking his ankle in the first quarter. Curry exited the game in the third quarter and did not return in the Warriors’ 114-109 win

The Warriors, who are 2-4 without Curry, and Hawks will tip off Friday at 10:30 p.m. at Oakland’s Oracle Arena and can be watched on Fox Sports Southeast.
