The Hawks are scheduled to meet with Sixers assistant Lloyd Pierce in Boston today for a second interview for their head coach opening, a person with knowledge of the meeting confirmed.

Pierce interviewed for the position over the weekend and is considered the leading candidate among the four still in consideration. Hawks principal owner Tony Ressler is expected to attend today’s meeting with Pierce.

The team’s second meeting with Pierce was first reported by ESPN.

The other candidates for the Hawks’ opening are Blazers assistant Nate Tibbetts, Hornets assistant Stephen Silas and Celtics assistant Jay Larranaga.
