The result of this game could have implications for the draft lottery, which gives the team with the worst record the best odds to win the No. 1 pick.

Entering today the Hawks (21-55) are tied with the Grizzlies for the NBA's second-worst record behind the Suns (19-58). The Magic (22-53) are right behind the Hawks and Grizzlies.  The Magic won two of the first three meetings against the Hawks, with both victories in Orlando.

The Hawks made a flurry of transactions today to fortify their injury-thinned roster. They recalled three players from their G League affiliate in Erie, Pa.: Tyler Cavanaugh, Josh Magette and Andrew White III. The Hawks also signed Jeremy Evans to a 10-day contract.
