What to watch for

The Hawks (24-57) are concluding one of the worst seasons in the franchise’s history. Only three Hawks teams in 68 previous seasons finished with fewer than 25 victories: the 2004-05 Atlanta Hawks (13-69), the 1951-52 Milwaukee Hawks (17-49) and the 1953-54 Milwaukee Hawks (21-51).

The Hawks are tied with the Mavericks and Magic for third in the draft lottery standings. The Mavericks host the Suns (20-61) tonight, and the Magic conclude their season Wednesday against the Wizards.

The Sixers (50-30) have won 14 consecutive games, tying the franchise record set during the 1982-83 season. They could be without Rookie of the Year candidate Ben Simmons, who missed today’s shootaround because of stomach illness.
