The Atlanta Dream signed guard Blake Dietrick to a training camp contract, the WNBA team announced Monday.

The 5-foot-10 former Princeton standout has spent the 2019-20 offseason in Spain playing for Lointek Gernika Bizkaia. She is averaging 7.9 points, 2.4 rebounds and 4.3 assists in EuroLeague games, and 7.2 points, 4.1 rebounds and 2.8 assists in Spanish League play for Gernika.

“We are excited to have Blake back in the ATL,” head coach Nicki Collen said in a statement. “She is a consummate pro who understands what we do, why we do it and is always willing to do the little things to make the team better.”

Dietrick played her first full season in the WNBA with Atlanta in 2018, helping the Dream advance to the semifinals of the playoffs, while averaging 1.4 points, 0.5 rebounds and 0.4 assists 26 games. With Seattle in 2019, Dietrick appeared in 17 games with one start, while seeing time in the Storm’s first-round playoffs matchup.

She was named the 2014-15 Ivy League Player of the Year at Princeton after leading the league in assists her senior season (4.9 per game) and setting the Tigers’ single-season assists record with 157. While at Princeton, the Tigers won three Ivy League Championships and with a program-best second round finish in the NCAA Tournament in 2015.
