The Hawks’ odds of winning an NBA championship are getting better.

At least according to Bovada.

In new odds released Tuesday, the Hawks are 16-t0-1 to win the title. That is down from 100-to-1 to start the season. A 26-8 record and a first-place standing in the Eastern Conference has its perks.

The Hawks are tied with the Raptors for the eighth-best odds. The trail the Bulls and Warriors (5-to-1), Spurs (11-to-2), Cavaliers (6-to-1), Mavericks (15-to-2),Thunder (8-to-1) and Clippers (12-to-1).

During training camp, at 100-to-1, the Hawks were tied for 19th with the Celtics, Nuggets, Pelicans and Suns. The Cavaliers, with the addition of LeBron James, were the favorites at 5-to-2. The Spurs are second at 4-to-1.
