Blake Griffin won't face Hawks in Atlanta

Jan 26, 2016

Los Angeles Clippers forward Blake Griffin will likely miss the next the month after injuring his hand after reportedly hitting a member of the team's equipment staff.

ESPN is reporting Griffin and an equipment staffer were involved in an argument in a restaurant during the team's trip to Toronto this week.

Griffin is said to have hit the man twice, once inside and then later outside the restaurant. Griffin and the equipment staffer were sent to Los Angeles after the incident.

Griffin, who has been out with a quadriceps injury, was slated to return to the lineup during when the team faced the Hawks Wednesday night in Atlanta. The Clippers are 11-3 without Griffin in the lineup.
