Atlanta recorded the fifth highest TV rating in the nation – the second highest outside the states of the participating teams – for Sunday night’s Game 2 of the NBA Finals.

ABC’s telecast of Golden State’s 110-77 rout of Cleveland delivered a 15.6 rating in the Atlanta TV market, meaning 15.6 percent of the market’s TV households watched on average, according to Nielsen figures.

The Cleveland and San Francisco markets posted the highest ratings, both at 32.1, followed by Sacramento, Calif., at 17.6.

The only other market in which the game drew a higher rating than in Atlanta was Miami (15.9), where Cavaliers star LeBron James played four seasons with the Heat.

Nationally, Game 2 generated an 11.8 overnight rating.
