A recap of the Braves’ loss to the Miami Marlins on Wednesday at Turner Field.

How the game was won: The Marlins scored four runs against Braves starter Eric Stults and went on to a 6-2 victory. The Braves had just three hits over seven innings against Marlins starter Dan Haren with home runs by Cameron Maybin and Kelly Johnson. The Braves lost two games in a row for the first time this season and also dropped their first series.

Number: 8.05. The combined ERA for Nos.4 and 5 Braves starters Stults and Trevor Cahill in three outings.

Next: The Braves are off Thursday and play the Blue Jays at 7:07 p.m. Friday on Fox Sports South. Julio Teheran (2-0, 1.50 ERA) faces Drew Hutchinson (1-0, 6.97 ERA).
