Braves manager Brian Snitker said he doesn’t plan to alter the starting rotation after Thursday’s rain-shortened game against the Mets.

Braves left-hander Jaime Garcia had pitched 3 2/3 innings (unofficial) when the game was delayed. Snitker said Garcia warmed up during the delay until it became clear it would last more than an hour. But Snitker said Garcia threw enough pitches that there was no need to give him a game appearance before his next scheduled start.

Mike Foltynewicz was to start Friday’s series opener against the Cardinals, with Julio Teheran and R.A. Dickey following him. After Monday’s off day, Bartolo Colon is in line to start the opener against Houston on Tuesday, and Garcia would pitch on Wednesday.

“As of right now, with the rainout we’ll just keep everybody on track,” Snitker said.
