Former Braves pitcher John Smoltz will appear on MLB Netwwork at 9 p.m. Thursday to discuss his shutout victory over the Pirates in Game 7 of the NLCS.

The hour-long episode is part of MLB’s “My Most Memorable Game” series in which legends talk about signature games in their career. The show is co-hosted by Bob Costas and Tom Verducci.

An excerpt from Smoltz:

“It was the most unbelievable series that most people don’t pay attention [to]. … Three 1-0 games in that series. We were lucky enough to win two of them. … My stomach was in knots. I was a wreck just hoping to pitch Game 7 in front of a hostile crowd. Once [Game 6] was over, I was in a position to do what I always wanted to do and that was pitch that final game to get us in to the World Series.”
