Atlanta United centerback Miles Robinson was called to the U.S. men’s national team Wednesday for its two coming games.
The call-up is another positive step in Robinson’s return from suffering a ruptured Achilles last season.
The U.S. will play CONCACAF Nations League matches at Grenada on March 24 and El Salvador in Orlando on March 27.
Additionally, striker Giorgos Giakoumakis was called into Greece’s national team Wednesday.
Greece will play Gibraltar on March 24 in a European qualifier and Lithuania on March 27.
Other Atlanta United players who have been called up include Thiago Almada by Argentina, Machop Chol by South Sudan and Ronald Hernandez by Venezuela.
Argentina will play Panama on March 23 and Curacao on March 28.
Venezuela will play Saudi Arabia on March 24 and Uzbekistan on March 28.
The call-ups will result in the players missing Atlanta United’s March 25 game at Columbus and possibly its April 1 game against the New York Red Bulls at Mercedes-Benz Stadium.
