Who will start for Atlanta United (10-8-5) in Saturday’s game at Philadelphia (8-12-6)?

There will certainly be at least one change following Wednesday’s 1-0 loss at D.C. United. Because he accumulated three more yellow cards, Carlos Carmona is suspended for one game and ineligible to be selected by manager Gerardo Martino. I think Julian Gressel is likely to step in for Carmona at holding midfielder.

The fullbacks will be the same as Wednesday: Anton Walkes and Greg Garza. Strangely, neither attempted a cross in the game.

The centerhalves will be Leandro Gonzalez Pirez and Michael Parkhurst, who will start together for the 24th consecutive game.

The holding midfielders will be Gressel and Jeff Larentowicz, who is one yellow card away from receiving a one-game suspension.

The attacking midfielder will be Miguel Almiron, who has eight goals and nine assists. He hasn’t scored in eight games, though.

The wide midfielders will be Yamil Asad and Hector Villalba.

The team is in seventh place in the Eastern Conference. It has one loss in its past seven games.
