Atlanta United goalkeeper Brad Guzan was called up by the U.S. men’s national team on Wednesday for the upcoming Nations League international tournament.

Guzan, 35, has 61 appearances with the U.S. men’s national team. Atlanta United leads MLS in shutouts (14) this season.

Centerback Miles Robinson, who earned his first two call-ups in the team’s most recent games against Mexico and Uruguay, wasn’t selected this time by manager Gregg Berhalter.

Other goalkeepers called up were Atlanta native Sean Johnson, who plays for NYCFC, and Zack Steffen, formerly of Columbus but who is on loan with Fortuna Dusseldorf from Manchester City.

The centerbacks called up Berhalter were Red Bulls’ Aaron Long, Reading’s Matt Miazga, Fulham’s Tim ream and LAFC’s Walker Zimmerman, who is a native of Lawrenceville.

The U.S. will face Cuba on Oct. 11 in Washington D.C. and Canada on Oct. 15 in Toronto.

The MLS playoffs will begin Oct. 19.

The Nations League is a two-tiered tournament, with Leagues A and B,  composed of teams from CONCACAF. The group phase consists of four groups of three teams. The U.S. is competing in League A, Group A. Group B consists of Panama, Bermuda and Mexico. Group C consists of Martinique, Trinidad and Tobago and Honduras. Group D consists of Curacao, Haiti and Costa Rica. The group winners will advance to a four-team bracket with the semifinals and final scheduled for June 20.
