Atlanta United fullback Greg Garza will miss Wednesday’s game against the Los Angeles Galaxy at Mercedes-Benz Stadium because of the hamstring injury sustained in the first half of last week’s 7-0 win against New England.

Garza missed the following game, a 3-3 draw with Orlando City on Saturday.

Manager Gerardo Martino said he there’s a chance Garza could return for Sunday’s game against Montreal.

Chris McCann started in Garza’s place against Orlando. He contributed an assist. Martino said there’s a chance McCann could start at left back Wednesday. Mikey Ambrose is another possibility. Garza, 26, has 24 starts this season with two goals and five assists.

Additionally, goalkeeper Alec Kann suffered a setback with his quad injury in his rehab game at Charleston on Saturday. He was scheduled to see a doctor Wednesday. Kann sustained the original injury at Columbus on July 1.

Martino said the remaining players seem OK after playing three games in seven days. The team is in the midst of a stretch of eight games in 24 days.
