My choice for Atlanta United's man of the match from Saturday's 2-1 win against Chicago at Toyota Park:

MIGUEL ALMIRON

Midfielder

Almiron was all over the field during Saturday’s win, which moved Atlanta United into first in the Eastern Conference. Not only did he assist on Ezequiel Barco’s opening goal, but he also led the team in touches (87), tackles (8) and fouls won (4). He tied for the lead in chances created (2), both coming in the second half.

His assist on Barco’s goal was his fifth his season. He also has six goals.

Barco said Atlanta United caught Chicago on a counter on the opening goal. Almiron broke through and chipped a pass to Barco, who chipped the goalkeeper from around 8 yards away.
