Atlanta United midfielder Miguel Almiron went through the MLS media carwash on Monday, bouncing from room to room being interviewed the league's different rights holders ahead of Wednesday's All-Star game against Real Madrid at Soldier Field.

Still, the ever-present smile was still there deep in the afternoon.

Q: Have you gone through anything like this before, talking with so many different members of the media?

A: I had a similar experience in Los Angeles before the preseason season started. (It was the media marketing tour of the league).

Q: Is this mentally tiring, or is it fun?

A: It’s a little tiring, but the people who are bringing me to all of the interviews (Justin Veldhuis and Elena Cizmaric), make it fun.

Q: Who are most looking to playing with on Wednesday?

A: I’m excited to play with all of the guy son the team because they are really talented and really good people. Everyone knows the kind of people that (Bastian) Schweinsteiger and (David) Villa and (Sebastian) Giovinco are. I’m really excited to share the field with them.

Q: Who on Real Madrid are you looking forward to facing?

A: They have really good players like Toni Kroos and Luka Modric. They are players that I like.

Q: Whose jersey would you like?

A: If I get the chance I would swap jerseys, but if not I’ll be happy to keep the jersey that I wear, to keep that.

If I could, I’d like to change with Modric.

Q: Do you find this concept of an All-Star game interesting or odd, because no one else does these things?

A: This is the first time I’ve ever played in a game like this, but I think it’s something that’s really good because it’s very rare to have an opportunity to play against a team like Real Madrid.

Q: Would you like to see Atlanta host this at Mercedes-Benz Stadium?

A: I think the city is capable of hosting the All-Star game because we have a great new stadium that can host a ton of fans, and I think the city is ready and able to host it.
