MEXICO CITY -- The Hawks provided an update on guard Wesley Matthews as he recovers from a leg injury.

They said that Matthews, who is dealing with a right calf strain, has progressed well through his rehabilitation protocol. They have updated his status to day-to-day and will continue to provide updates as appropriate.

The team has already ruled Matthews out of Thursday’s game against the Magic in Mexico City.
