Bally Sports Southeast reported that its Hawks play-by-play announcer Bob Rathbun is on the mend.

A longtime Hawks broadcaster, Rathbun had a medical emergency during the outlet’s pregame broadcast Monday. The network later announced that Rathbun was treated for dehydration and taken to Emory Midtown for further evaluation.

On Tuesday, Bally Sports announced that Rathbun had further tests, which produced favorable results. After the completion of the remaining tests, Bally Sports said Rathbun will be released from the hospital.

No timeline was announced for when Rathbun will return to the air, but Bally Sports said it will occur when he is “well rested and fully recovered.”

Rathbun has been the Hawks’ play-by-play broadcaster since 1996.
