Midway through the second quarter of the Hawks-Wizards game Friday night in Washington, second-year wing De’Andre Hunter exited and was attended to by the training staff.

According to the team, Hunter is experiencing right knee discomfort and will not return to the game.

It’s not yet clear what Hunter’s specific injury is. After the game, Hawks coach Lloyd Pierce said Hunter was sore and would be reviewed more Saturday, but didn’t have any additional information on Hunter’s injury.
