• It was a series of less-than-10 wagers from his cell phone, including 3-, 5- and 8-game parlays.
• He did bet on the Falcons, but never against them.

Players and entire organizations have done worse than Calvin Ridley and gotten lesser punishment. The NFL just doesn’t value the impact of racist hiring practices, rape, domestic violence, DUIs, harassment and steroids on its business as much as a player betting on games.
