FLOWERY BRANCH — Defensive tackle Darrion Daniels, who spent some time with the 49ers, signed with the Falcons on Wednesday.

Daniels, 24, played at Nebraska. He’s 6-foot-3 and 311 pounds. Nose tackle Eddie Goldman, who signed over the offseason, elected to retire July 19, leaving an open roster spot.
