Falcons pick up A.J. Terrell’s $12.34 million fifth-year option

FLOWERY BRANCH — The Falcons, as expected, will pick up cornerback A.J. Terrell’s fifth-year option of $12.34 million, according to NFL Media.

Falcons general manager Terry Fontenot and coach Arthur Smith declined to comment about Terrell’s option over the past few weeks.

Terrell was picked 16th overall in 2020 and has been a starter since his rookie season.
