FLOWERY BRANCH — Falcons right tackle Kaleb McGary, who missed the past game against Miami, was activated from the Reserve/COVID-19 on Monday.

The Falcons activated left guard Josh Andrews from injured reserve to the 53-man roster this past Monday and placed McGary on the NFL’s reserve/COVID-19 list.

Jason Spriggs started for McGary and played all 64 offensive snaps in the 30-28 win over the Dolphins on Sunday.

“I thought Spriggs did a great job for us,” Falcons quarterback Matt Ryan said. “Coming in, stepping up. He plays extremely hard. He played well. Our guys, I love our guys, they fight. They play hard. They work hard together. They prepare really well during the week.”

The line gave up one sack — on a safety blitz — and just six quarterback hits.

The running backs had 19 carries for 72 yards, just enough to keep the Dolphins’ defense honest and to help to run down the clock at the end of the game.
