Acuna goes deep: Ronald Acuna follows through on his two-run homer in the fifth inning on Thursday's Braves-Marlins game at Truist Park. The game was a part of MLB's celebration of Jackie Robinson Day and all players wore No. 42 in honor of the players who broke baseball's color barrier on April 15, 1947.

The home run was Acuna's third in the last two games against the Marlins.

The homer was also the seventh of the season for Acuna and the runs batted in were his 13th and 14th of the season.

Broken bat for Acuna: Leadoff hitter Ronald Acuna holds the handle of the bat after it shattered and flew into the outfield on a first-inning swing. Acuna would eventually strike out against Marlins starter Trevor Rogers.

Righthander Ian Anderson received the starting nod for the Braves Thursday against the Marlins.

Sandoval goes deep: Pinch hitter Pablo Sandoval hits a three-run homer in the sixth inning of Thursday's Braves-Marlins game. It was Sandoval's third home run in eight at-bats this season - all as a pinch hitter.
