SAN DIEGO — The Braves wrapped up their road slate with a 4-3 win over the Padres on Sunday, finishing a 7-3 western road trip.

Overall, the Braves went 46-35 on the road this season. The record was helped by a franchise-best 13-game road winning streak in August. During that run, the Braves swept a nine-game road trip at Washington, Miami and Baltimore.

The Braves’ 46-35 road mark is one game worse than their away records in 2018 and 2019, the last two full seasons played. The Braves went 47-34 in each of those seasons and 16-14 on the road in the shortened 2020 campaign. That makes the Braves 156-117 away from home over the past four seasons.

Six (potentially seven) games remain before the regular season concludes. The Braves will open a pivotal three-game series against the Phillies at Truist Park on Tuesday before finishing with three games against the Mets.
