First, Freddie.

Then, Dansby.

Now, Max.

The Braves have lost three big-name players in less than three years via free agency. You could say the writing was on the way before each left with indications that the team wasn’t going to re-sign them to big-money contracts. And boy, did they get big money elsewhere. Each were considered one of the faces of the franchise.

Left-hander Max Fried became the latest to leave, even if it was a foregone conclusion by the end of the season. He agreed to an eight-year deal with the Yankees on Tuesday.

Here’s a look at who has left recently:

Freddie Freeman: Signed a six-year, $162 million contract with the Dodgers on March 18, 2022.

Dansby Swanson: Signed a seven-year, $177 million contract with the Cubs on Dec. 21, 2023

Max Fried: Agrees to an eight-year, $218 million contract with the Yankees on Dec. 10, 2024
