If you can’t get enough information about the Atlanta Falcons, Brandon Adams and Chuck Smith are about to be your new best friends.

Starting Friday, Sept. 6, former Falcons defensive end Smith will join host Adams on a new twice-weekly livestream, “AJC Falcons News Now,” sponsored by Miller Lite.

“I couldn’t be more excited to be part of AJC Falcons News Now this season,” Adams said. “The AJC has been the leading voice in Falcons coverage for generations, and to have the chance to participate in a conversation with the fans who’ve been reading that coverage all these years is truly a thrill.

Speaking about his co-host, Adams said: “I think Falcons fans are also going to love getting a chance to hear from Chuck. They obviously remember him being a great player, and now they’ll experience his insight on the game. He has a great passion for his former team and the NFL, and that gives him a strong perspective from which to speak.”

Chuck Smith played for the Falcons for eight seasons.

Smith played eight seasons in Atlanta after a stellar career at the University of Tennessee. The AJC included him in its ranking of the top 50 players in Falcons history.

“Chuck and I are looking forward to talking with each other, but ultimately, we want this show to be interactive. Reading viewer comments live on air will also be a big part of what we do.”

The livestream can be seen 1 p.m. Mondays and Fridays on the AJC's Atlanta Falcons News Now page on Facebook, so be sure to like and follow the page.
