WR Chris Givens had 249 all-purpose yards, including an 81-yard TD reception, against Duke. He also had an 18-yard fumble return for a TD.

Miami officials believe Travis Benjamin, who returned a punt 79 yards for a TD in Saturday's loss to Ohio State, and Lamar Miller, who returned a kickoff 88 yards for a score, are the first Hurricanes duo to return a kickoff and a punt in the same game for TDs. ... LB Kylan Robinson, who made his first career start against the Buckeyes, is the only ACC player from Alaska. ... WR Leonard Hankerson, who had seven catches for 90 yards, has caught at least one pass in 15 consecutive games.

North Carolina leads the ACC in passing offense at 412 yards per game, all of it in the opening loss to LSU.

The officials who blew a call in USC's 17-14 victory over the Cavaliers have been suspended for a game by Pac-10 commissioner Larry Scott. According to the release, "The officials misapplied rules for blocking below the waist on a Virginia fake punt in the second quarter." ... TE Joe Torchia is the ACC offensive lineman of the week with five receptions for 73 yards against USC. ... K Robert Randolph, who missed only two field goals in 2009, has missed three in two games, including both of his attempts Saturday.

Defensive coordinator Bud Foster called a defensive meeting at 6:45 a.m. Monday to rehash the mistakes made in the Hokies' loss to James Madison. "Yes, sir, he was loud. He stopped every play and asked, 'What happened here?'" FS Eddie Whitley told the Roanoke (Va.) Times. ... East Carolina QB Dominique Davis is ninth nationally in total offense with 333 yards per game. ... The Hokies are 0-2 for the first time since 1995.
