Here’s a quick look at Nate McMillan’s tenure as Hawks’ coach.

McMillan was named interim coach on March 1, 2021 and led the team to a 27-11 record in the final 38 games of the regular season.

McMillan led the team to the Eastern Conference finals before losing to eventual NBA champion Milwaukee.

McMillan was named the 14th full-time head coach in Atlanta franchise history on July 8, 2021.

McMillan led the Hawks to a 43-39 record in the 2021-22 season.

The Hawks lost in the first round of the NBA playoffs to the Miami Heat.

The Hawks had a 29-30 record in 59 games under McMillan this season.

McMillan finished his Hawks’ tenure with records of 99-80 (regular season) and 11-12 (postseason).
