Ahead of the inaugural, Gov. Brian Kemp attended a prayer service at The Cathedral of St. Philip in Atlanta. He was sporting a tie from one of his mentors: the late Georgia football coach Vince Dooley.

Kemp is an avowed Georgia football fan and Athens native who was among the thousands of Bulldog faithful who trekked to Los Angeles over the weekend to watch the team win a second consecutive college football championship.
