The Georgia general election began a 3-week early voting period Monday ahead of the Nov. 3 general election. Long lines were reported across metro Atlanta, not surprising for the first day. AJC journalists are watching reports from from early voting locations across metro Atlanta and providing photos and updates. Early voting ends on Friday, Oct. 30.
