Now casting: ‘MacGyver’ seeking business types

Are you ready to make your mark on Atlanta's film and TV industry? Are you the next Tyler Perry? ATL is in need of young stars. Check out the Peach City's latest casting call for your chance at fame.

‘MacGyver’

'MacGyver' is a new CBS version of the 1985 to 1992 series that starred Richard Dean Anderson. It's an action-adventure drama about a young man who creates a secret organization within the U.S. government and uses his scientific knowledge and ingenuity to right the wrongs of the world. Lucas Till of "X Men" – who grew up in Atlanta and graduated from Kell High School – stars as MacGyver. George Eads, who was in "CSI," is also in the cast.

What are they looking for?

The following roles are being cast:

Politicians – men and women with business-type looks and attire. Men must be clean-shaven.

Colonel – man in his 40s who is 5'11" or taller, physically fit and clean-shaven

When are they filming?

Filming will be in Atlanta on July 19.

How much does it pay?

Pay is $75 for eight hours.
