‘The Resident’ 

The medical drama pilot airs on Fox and will star Matt Czuchry of CBS’s “The Good Wife,” who will portray a tough senior resident. Devon Pravesh also stars as an idealistic young doctor.

What are they looking for? 

The following roles are being cast:

• Hairy man – man with a very hairy chest to portray a featured patient (Subject: “Hairy”)

• Paramedics – people who have real experience as a paramedic (Subject: “Real Medic”)

• Chemo – men and women with thin hair or no hair and look sickly to portray or who are actual chemo patients (Subject: “Chemo SUCKS”)

• Clinic nurse – women who appear to be African-American, Hispanic or Asian (Subject: “Clinic”)

When are they filming? 

Filming will be in Conyers on Oct. 2 for chemo patients, Oct. 2 and 7 for clinic nurses and Oct. 4 for the hairy man. The work date for paramedics is to be determined.

How much does it pay? 

Pay is $175 for 12 hours for paramedics and $64 for eight hours for clinic nurses. The hairy man will receive a higher rate to be determined, and the rate for chemo patients is also to be determined.
