Now casting: Diane Keaton film seeking high school students, cars in Hampton

Are you ready to make your mark on Atlanta’s film and TV industry? Are you the next Tyler Perry? ATL is in need of young stars. Check out the Peach City’s latest casting call for your chance at fame.

Diane Keaton and Jacki Weaver (“Silver Linings Playbook,” “The Disaster Artist”) will star in “Poms,” a comedy about a group of women who form a cheerleading squad at their retirement community, according to Deadline. Zara Hayes (“The Battle of the Sexes”) is directing.

What are they looking for?

Men and women age 18-21 and of any ethnicity are needed to portray high school students. You must look young and have a car. Males must also be clean-shaven.

When are they filming?

Filming will be in Hampton on Aug. 16 and/or 17. You must be available for both.

How much does it pay?

Pay is $75 for eight hours with a $25 car bump.

How do I submit?

Send an e-mail to with the subject line “BACKPACK.” Include your name, age, height, weight and phone number, along with three photos of yourself (headshot, full length, etc.) 

Submit the make, model, year and color of your car, as well as a photo of it.
