Over the last week, meteorologists have been preparing Georgians for another snow day. As the snowflakes began to dust the streets Tuesday night, school districts and businesses began announcing closures and roads became increasingly slippery.

The snow continued to fall on North Georgia Wednesday morning and low temps remain. Gov. Deal even declared a state of emergency in 83 Georgia counties for Wednesday, Jan. 17.

Despite the dangerous conditions, many have taken to Twitter to show off their snowy backyards and snowmen.
