Woman shot dead in northwest Atlanta Wednesday night identified

A woman who was shot in the stomach on Atlanta’s northwest side and later died has been identified by the Fulton County Medical Examiner.

Camessa Smarr, 20, died after being shot around 9 p.m. Wednesday in the 1100 block of Joseph E. Boone Boulevard, Atlanta police said.
