A man mowing the grass across the street from Fulton County Airport-Brown Field on Wednesday morning found a woman’s body under a billboard by a Days Inn, Channel 2 Action News reported. There were no obvious signs of trauma, Channel 2 said.
The body was found at Fulton Industrial Boulevard, near MLK Jr. Blvd.
Fulton County police detective Melissa Parker said police were on the scene investigating Wednesday afternoon.
The manner of death has not yet been determined, so police are automatically treating the case as a homicide, Lt. Scott McBride said.
The woman has not been identified.
An autopsy will be performed by the Fulton County Medical Examiner’s Office.
