Skyy Mims, the Detroit woman charged with killing a Dalton convenience store clerk last year, was found competent to stand trial Wednesday, the Daily Citizen in Dalton reported.
Her trial is to start April 27.
Mims, 21, an aspiring model and rapper, is accused of stabbing to death Dahyabhi Kalidas Chaudhari, 37, at a gas station and fleeing with cash and lottery tickets in March 2014. She was arrested in Bartow County two days later.
She entered a not guilty plea at her arraignment last August.
The killing stunned the local community, where the victim was popular.
