A 3-year-old Atlanta girl gave Pope Francis — and thousands of Twitter users worldwide — an entertaining moment Wednesday.

“Took my Goddaughter to meet the pope. She stole his hat!” former Atlanta resident Mountain Butorac tweeted after Estella Westrick lifted the pope’s skullcap, known as a zucchetto, from his head during the meeting.

The moment was captured on video, and the pope seemed to enjoy it.

"Right before she went up she was a little nervous," Butorac told CNN. "Then she stole his hat. It was hilarious, everyone was laughing, including the Pope."

Butorac runs The Catholic Traveler, which specializes in faith-based tours.

His video has been retweeted more than 2,600 times and liked more than 4,700 times.

"It's her first full day in Rome,” he said. “Who knows what she will get up to tomorrow?”

The 3-year-old attends St. Theresa’s in Douglasville.
