Isao Machii is a Japanese master swordsman and often referred to as a modern day samurai.
In the past, Machii has been filmed slicing BB gun pellets fired toward him, so naturally, taking the top off of an oncoming fastball was a suitable next goal.
In the video below, watch as Machii splits the fastball – coming at 100 mph – in half. Notice his sword is completely sheathed as he prepares his attempt, which is successful on the first try.
