Those catching ITV's live newscast at 6:30 p.m. Sunday saw something far more jarring than the usual reporter stand-up: a pedestrian being struck by a motorcycle.
As the ITV reporter was speaking live on camera, a pedestrian trying to cross the road in front of the station was unexpectedly sent flying by an oncoming motorcycle.
Fellow pedestrians can be heard gasping and seen rushing to the man's aid.
Those who saw the accident immediately began expressing concern on Twitter, but the reporter, Ria Chatterjee, quickly assured all worried viewers that everything was fine and nobody was injured.
